Singer Mariana Popova went to Athens with the power ballad Let me cry which, written by Dani Milev and Elina Gavrilova and placed 17^th in the semi final with 36 points. Bulgarian megastar Azis was amongst the backing vocalists. Bulgaria didn’t make it to the final either in 2006, thus not qualifying to the final 2 years in a row.
