Singer Mariana Popova went to Athens with the power ballad Let me cry which, written by Dani Milev and Elina Gavrilova and placed 17th in the semi final with 36 points. Bulgarian megastar Azis was amongst the backing vocalists. Bulgaria didn’t make it to the final either in 2006, thus not qualifying to the final 2 years in a row.
