On December 1st in the Edinburgh filmhouse in Scotland an event called Missing Believed Wiped will be showing some rare archive television programmes and amongst the list of show are joint 1969 United Kingdom Eurovision winner Lulu’s television show it’s Lulu.
During the event the audience well get to watch the show which will include the song March the song that came runner up to Boom bang-a-bang in A Song For Europe in 1969 and compare how they think March compares to Boom bang-a-bang.
Another song uncovered from A Song For Europe 1969 was I can’t go on living without you which was written Bernie Taupin and singer songwriter Sir Elton John CBE.
Because the show was recovered from a domestic video format they suffer the common problems of video recording and are very unlikely to ever be broadcasted on TV but some short clips where used in a documentary in 2011 about Lulu.
Keep up to date with Lulu and the United Kingdom in the Eurovision Song Contest.
