1983 Eurovision Song Contest winner Corinne Hermès released her latest single today. S'il n'y avait pas les mots (If there weren't the words) is taken from her latest album Vraie (True) that appeared earlier this year. The singer has composed all the songs on Vraie by herself with the lyrics by Frédéric Kocourek and Séverine Vincent.

S'il n'y avait pas les mots is supposed to 'create a world of French melodies in a Brit-pop style universe'. The new CD is the follow up single of the song On vit comme on aime (You live as you love) that had already been published.

Corinne Hermès won the Eurovision Contest for Luxembourg in 1983 with the song Si la vie est cadeau (If life is a gift). After her appearance, the singer told that she 'doesn't want to be a one-hit-wonder'. Nevertheless, she has never been very commercially succesful.
