Today on LRT's morning show 'Labas Rytas', it was announced that 65 entries were received by LRT for the Lithuanian national final for 2007, Eurovizija 2007. Less than 65 songs will end up being performed in the selection, however, as some artists sent more than 1 song in, and will have to choose just one to perform.

Mentioned on the show as participants were Rūta Ščiogolevaitė, who finished 2nd in the 2004 national final, Vilija Matačiūnaitė, who was 7th in 2005, Saulės Kliošas, who were 6th in 2004, 5th in 2005 and 14th in 2006,Rasa Kaušiūtė, who was 9th in 2004 and 13th in 2005,Antanas, who took part in the 2006 semi finals, and Gravel, who were 4th in 2006.

Due to Lithuania's 6th place in the 2006 final, whoever wins Eurovizija 2007will have the priviledge to be directly qualified to the final in Helsinki.
