Today, fans of the Eurovision Song Contest will get to know the first official entry for the 2007 competition in Helsinki. Whilst Ireland last month declared that Dervish would be their candidates, and earlier today, Swiss broadcaster SFDRS announced as expected, that DJ Bobo would participate for them, Moldova will become the first country to declare their full entry, with the artist and song confirmed.

Last night, we exclusively revealed that aMoldovan jury had reduced the number of songs from the initial 34 to just three. Although the plan was to have 7-10 songs remaining until a final decision today, the three were so clearly in front that they could not have been caught by the others. One of the following three songs will be declared the first Eurovision Song Contest entry of 2007:
