Humoristic punk band Les Fatals Picards, the 2007 French Eurovision representatives have announced the release of a brand new album scheduled to be released on 14 October. The new effort titled Septième ciel will be the seventh studio album of the group which proves more successful year after year.

Sometimes failures taste like victories. This is exactly what happened to Les Fatals Picards. The crazy rockers may have ended very close to the bottom of the ranking in Helsinki, they actually managed to get even more popular back home in France. Their unique sense of humour and their good music have made the group one of the best live acts in France, particularly popular among youngsters.

After a successful studio album, Coming out ; a two-year long tour in two parts, Coming Out Tour 1 & Coming Out Tour 2 ; and a live album Fatals s/Scène, Les Fatals Picards will release their seventh original album titled Septième ciel on 14 October. The band has been working on new songs for several months already and is said to be preparing many surprises. No single has been announced so far but the group is already giving a rendez-vous to all the fans for a new crazy tour in 2014.
