Last Friday 14th July, the Romanian star from the Eurovision Song Contest 2006, Mihai Trăistariu was in Malta for a party at the Amazonia Beach Club, Qawra. Mihai was supported by popular local artists, Tristan B and She2s.
Mihai Trăistariu arrived in Malta on Friday 14th July, few hours before his appearance at the Amazonia Beach Club in Qawra. He was accompanied by local artist, Tristan B. The event was organised by TimeLine Productions.
Mihai Trăistariu performed 9 songs, among which Tornero, which he dedicatedto hismother who passed away recently. Mihai also performed a cover-version of Helena Paparizou's My Number One, Whitney Houston's I will always Love you andother songs from his repertoire.
Local artist Tristan B, who recently signed an international contract with Italian based Icona Music, performed 4 songs, among which his hit single Life is a beat. Girl band from Maltese Junior Eurovision selection, She2s cheered the crowd with cover versions and remixes of various Eurovision Song Contest entries.
During an exclusive interview with Ogae Malta, Mihai Trăistariu said, 'I was in Malta few weeks before the Eurovision Song Contest 2006 and I promised the Maltese that I will be back…and here I am. It's the way I can thank my fans in Malta for the 10 points awarded to me during this year's Eurovision Song Contest."
