According to oikotimes.com, the Monegasque broadcaster has announced that they will participate in the semi final in Helsinki. No further information on how they will search their participant has been published yet.

Monaco is one of the five unlucky countries who failed to qualify in all three semifinals broadcast so far. After they returned in 2004, having taken a break of 25 years, Monaco finished in the bottom 4 on every occasion.

So far, all Monegasque representavies have been selected internally since the very first participation back in 1959. That makes another secret choosing likely, but nevertheless we still have to wait for more detailed information on the selection.

Séverine Ferrer represented the small country in Athens, reaching 21st position with La coco-dance. Therefore, Monaco will have to compete once again in the semi final in Helsinki on 10th May 2007.
