Søren Therkelsen, Commissioning Editor of the Eurovision Song Contest anniversary show Congratulations, is “disappointed” in the French and British broadcasters because of their decision not to broadcast the celebrations. He said that in the second part of the interview he had with earlier this month.

Earlier, French television and the British BBC announced not to broadcast the 50th anniversary show. “I am disappointed and do not understand their present decisions. I am absolutely sure that there will be even more than a potential audience to this show in both countries. So lets see if not the EBU can convince at least one of them to participate”.

In the interview, we spoke with Søren Therkelsen about his personal feelings about the Eurovision Song Contest, the anniversary show, the guests and the preparations.
