Choreographer Adrienne Abjörn has been in Riga working with the Latvian entry PeR. She is know for her work as a teacher at the Stockholm Ballet Academy.

The front man of the Latvian Eurovision entrants PeR, Ral Eilands, says, We met the choreographer a week ago. We like the fact that the festive party feeling of our PeRformance has not changed, but she has been able to enhance to the good elements of it.

Also the team from Swedish Television SVT will be in Latvia this week to shoot the postcard that will be shown before the Latvian entry in May.

Zita Kaminska, the Eurovision producer for the Latvian national broadcaster LTV says it is very rare in Eurovision history that the postcards are actually done in the home country of the acts.

The Latvian postcard is going to be very attractive, she says.

It will be shot, to a tight schedule, at a go-karting site, Riga Zoo and the museum of aviation, as well taking in the sights of Riga old town from St. Peter’s Church tower.

We will also see the PeR band members trying to catch their own private jet in the video, shot on location in Aizpute in Riga as well as the schools of Ralf and Edmund of the band.

The Latvian Eurovision effort is sponsored by Ventspils City for the 13th year in a row.

Latvia will perform in the second semi-final in Malmö on 16 May 2013, hoping to be one of the ten countries that make it to the grand final of 18 May.
