TRM (Teleradio Moldova) has announced the dates for their 2013 Eurovision national selection; semifinal 1 on 12 March, semifinal 2 on March 14 and the grand final on 16 March.

A total of 24 songs will compete in the Moldovan national selection: 12 songs will compete in each of the 2 semifinals, whilst 14 songs will compete in the grand final.

Moldova debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2005 and is yet to win the contest. The country’s best placing was a 6th place in 2005 when they debuted at the 2005 Eurovision Song Contest in Kiev with Zdob Si Zdub’s Bunika bate toba!
