El Sueño de Morfeo the 2013 Spanish Eurovision representatives are currently working round the clock in order to prepare their potential entries for the forthcoming 2013 Spanish Eurovision Song Selection. TVE, the Spanish broadcaster is yet to announce the date of the special show.

Raquel del Rosario, David Feito and Juan Luis Suárez  have been very busy lately recording and putting the finishing touches to their Eurovision songs in their studio in Oviedo. The Spanish band will be submitting  a total of 4 songs to the Spanish broadcaster by the end of  January. TVE will then release the songs online on their official website prior to the competition.

The Spanish representatives are very happy and excited  and are looking forward to their Eurovision experience next May. They are proud and honoured to represent Spain at Europe’s favourite television show.

El Sueñ0 de Morfeo is a  Spanish pop rock group with Celtic influence formed by Raquel del RosarioDavid Feito and Juan LuisSuarez formed in 2002. Raquel hails from Teror, Gran Canaria whilst both David and Juan Luis are from Asturias. Raquel is the lead singer of the group, who are well known for composing and penning their own songs. The Spanish band enjoys great success and recognition not only in Spain but throughout the South American continent.

Raquel is also famous in Italy, where she has competed at the 2011 San Remo Song Festival along with former Italian Eurovision representative  Luca Barbarossa (Italy 1988) with the song Fino in fondo. El Sueño de Morfeo have a total of 4 albums in their repertoire, having released their first album in 2005.

Spain has once again opted for the same method and mechanism to select both their Eurovision entry and representative like last year. The Spanish representatives will perform 4 songs in a special Eurovision televised gala, where the Spanish public along with a special jury will select the 2013 Spanish Eurovision entry.

Spain debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1961 and has participated at every Eurovision edition since then. Spain has won the contest in 1968 and 1969.
