AMPTV, the Armenian national broadcaster has informed esctoday.com that Armenia will select their 2013 Eurovision representative via an internal selection. Esctoday.com  has also learned that the mechanism to select the 2013 Armenian entry is yet to be decided. ARMTV might have a song selection in order to select their  2013 Eurovision entry but they might even opt for an internal song selection.. AMPTV’s priority is to select their  Eurovision representative first.

Armenia debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2006 with Andre and is yet to win the event. The country’s best placing at the Eurovision Song Contest was in 2008 with Sirusho’s Qele Qele.
