Eleftheria Eleftheriou with an album after Eurovision

This year’s Greek hopeful Eleftheria Eleftheriou was in Malta to perform in the Malta Olympic Committee awards show. In an interview with esctoday.com the Greek-Cypriot artist spoke about the boost the Eurovision Song Contest gave in her career.

Eleftheria spoke about her new album and the new song Hearts collide. Infact she performed this song last night in the sports awards. Eleftheriou said that the upcoming album will be mainly pop and will be available on itunes. The singer also appealed to Greece and Cyprus to participate in the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest.

Apart of the Greek representative, Kurt Calleja (Malta 2012) also was one of the guests in the awards that took place in the Grand Ballroom at the Excelsior Hotel, Valletta. Eleftheria Eleftheriou managed to qualify to the final with the song Aphrodisiac but finished 17th in the final of the Eurovision Song Contest.
