The French Eurovision 2012 representative Anggun is officially joining the judging panel for the highly anticipated fourth season of Drag Race France. The popular French drag competition is set to premiere on France 2 and france.tv on Wednesday, July 8, 2026. Fans can look forward to seeing the acclaimed singer bring her unique perspective to the Werk Room.

Anggun brings Eurovision flair to Drag Race France

Franco-Indonesian singer and actress Anggun, who famously represented France at the Eurovision Song Contest in Baku in 2012, has been confirmed as a new judge for Drag Race France Season 4. She joins the established panel alongside returning host Nicky Doll, Daphné Bürki, and journalist Loïc Prigent.

The announcement has generated excitement among fans of both Eurovision and the Drag Race franchise, eager to see Anggun’s commentary and critiques. Her inclusion marks a notable addition to the show’s dynamic, blending her musical expertise and international experience with the vibrant world of French drag.

Season 4 promises new twists and fierce competition

The fourth season of Drag Race France is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, airing on France 2 and being available on france.tv. This season will introduce ten new queens vying for the crown, succeeding previous winners such as Paloma, Keiona, and Le Filip.

Viewers can expect the return of beloved challenges like the Snatch Game and the Makeover Challenge, alongside a brand-new twist: the ‘Golden Baguette’. This new rule allows an eliminated queen to pass the baguette to another contestant, who can then use it in a subsequent episode to save one of the bottom three queens, or even themselves, from elimination.

The premiere episode will also feature a legendary guest judge, Isabelle Adjani, setting the stage for what promises to be an exhilarating season.

Anggun represented France at the Eurovision 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan with her entry ‘Echo’ (You and I).
