Spain: RTVE sets the date for the Benidorm Fest 2027 competing acts reveal

RTVE, the Spanish national broadcaster, has set the date for the Benidorm Fest 2027 competing acts reveal.

RTVE will unveil the competing acts at Benidorm Fest 2027 on the 13th of October.

Spain and RTVE are yet to confirm their participation at Eurovision 2027. Hence if Spain were to compete at next year’s Eurovision Song Contest the Spanish Eurovision act and entry will be determined via Benidorm Fest as has been the case from 2022-2025.

It is yet unclear if RTVE will compete at Eurovision 2027, the Spanish national broadcaster withdrew from the competition in 2026 due to Israel’s participation in the contest.

RTVE received circa 900 songs for Benidorm Fest 2027. Benidorm Fest 2027 will consist of three televised live tv shows ( 2 semi-finals and a Grand Final) scheduled to be held in Benidorm. The exact number of competing entries is yet to be determined.

Sergio Jaen, the internationally acclaimed Spanish stage and artistic director will be in charge of Benidorm 2027 for the second consecutive year.
