The favourites ahead of tonight’s Grand Final

According to the latest betting odds, Finland remains the clear favourite to win the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, followed by Australia, Greece, Denmark and Israel.

At the same time, the INFE Poll 2026 has also given fans a strong indication of which entries are generating the biggest momentum among Eurovision fan clubs around the world.

However, Eurovision history has repeatedly shown that surprises can always happen on the night, especially once the televote enters the equation.

How the voting works

Once again, the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 will be decided through a combination of national jury votes and public televoting.

All 35 participating countries will vote in tonight’s Grand Final with two separate sets of points:

  • One set awarded by a five-member professional jury
  • One set awarded through the public televote

Viewers in participating countries will be able to vote through phone calls, SMS and the official Eurovision Song Contest app during the live show. Fans can vote up to 10 times for their favourite songs, although they cannot vote for their own country.

The voting window will open shortly before the first performance of the evening and remain open during the entire show, before closing around 40 minutes after the final competing song.

Meanwhile, viewers from countries not participating in Eurovision 2026 will once again be able to vote online as part of the Rest of the World vote through esc.vote.

The Rest of the World vote counts as one additional full set of Eurovision points alongside the votes from the 35 competing countries.

Once all performances have taken place, the national juries from each participating country will first reveal their famous “douze points”, before the combined televoting totals dramatically determine the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026.

How to watch

The Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 begins at 21:00 CEST and will be broadcast live by the national broadcasters of all 35 participating countries.

At the same time, viewers around the world will also be able to follow all the action live through the official Eurovision Song Contest YouTube channel.

Europe and Australia, get ready for one more unforgettable Eurovision night from Vienna!
