AVROTROS, the Dutch national broadcaster, has announced today that it will be opening the song submission window for Eurovision 2026 in May.

The Dutch Eurovision 2026 Song Submission window will open on 19 May, thus initially much earlier than the expected scheduled date which was set on 1 August.

With the 2025 Eurovision  yet to be held, the Dutch have confirmed their participation at the Eurovision 2026 edition.

Thus the Netherlands becomes the very first country to confirm its participation at ESC 2026.

Claude will represent the Netherlands at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest 2025 in Basel with his entry ‘C’est la vie’.
