Italy has emerged victorious in the 40th edition of the OGAE Second Chance contest. The nation’s entry, performed by Ditonellapiaga, secured the top spot in the annual fan club competition.
The OGAE Second Chance contest, organised annually by OGAE fan clubs, offers a platform for songs that did not win their national selections but were popular among fans. This year, the 40th edition saw Italy claim the coveted title.
Ditonellapiaga, representing Italy, impressed voters across the various OGAE clubs, ultimately securing the victory for her country. This win highlights the strong support and appreciation for the Italian entry among Eurovision enthusiasts.
Ditonellapiaga partook at the Sanremo Song Festival 2026 with her mega hit ‘Che Fastidio”, where she placed 3rd in the Grand Final.
