Erik Struve Hansen ( DMGP 2025 producer) says:
We have focused on finding strong songs, but also strong singers who can make these songs come alive on stage – and I think we have succeeded in that all the way around. Both when we have the big, sensitive ballad, and when we get to the songs that really get the dance floor going.
Erik adds:
Of course, we all really want to advance to the Eurovision final this year, and fortunately I have a really good gut feeling.
Again this year we have focused on finding songs that can both make a statement in a Dansk Melodi Grand Prix, but also have potential on the international Eurovision stage – and I think we have succeeded in that. Both in terms of finding some strong songs, but also some artists who both sing well and can deliver a strong performance.
And my impression is that we have found eight artists who are all ready to give it everything it takes to do well at Eurovision – and I think they will.
