Montenegro has decided! Nina Zizic will have the grand honour of representing Montenegro at the forthcoming Eurovision Song Contest in Basel.
Following the voluntary withdrawal of the rock band NeonoeN from Eurovision 2025 after an alleged breach of rules as their potential Eurovision entry had been performed in 2023, the Montenegrin national broadcaster has selected Nina Zizic to fly the Montenegrin flag at Eurovision 2025.
NIna Zizic was the runner up at the Montenegrin national final and will be flying to Basel for ESC 2025 with her entry ‘Dobro Dosli’.
A total of 16 acts battled at Montesong 2024, the show was held at Voco Sports Hall in Podgorica. Montenegro is returning to our beloved contest after a two year hiatus.
It will be the second time Nina Zicic will be gracing the Eurovision stage as she represented Montenegro at ESC 2013 with No Name and their entry ‘Igranka’.
Antonela Martinovic (RTCG Press Team) says:
I am sure that Nina Žižić will present us in the best light in Switzerland. RTCG will do everything to support the promotion of music and our country, and all that remains for us is to join the call of the band NeonoeN and all together support Nina and Montenegro at Eurovision.
There is a lot of work ahead of us. RTCG will do everything to support Nina at Eurovision, to support the promotion of music, and our delegation will have numerous administrative obligations towards the European Broadcasting Union, and Nina Žižić will have to make serious preparations
