ERT, the Greek national broadcaster has confirmed the date for the forthcoming Greek national final for Eurovision 2025 and has received a total of 187 songs for the competition.
Now a special 5 member member jury will be responsible to evaluate all submitted entries and shortlist them. The jury will select up to 12 entries for the televised national final.
The running order of the Greek national final will be determined via a special draw. The 2025 Greek Eurovision entry and act will be selected via a 50/50 public voting- jury (international/ national) deliberation. The jury will consist of 2 sets of juries (national and international), each jury will consist of five members.
Greece will determine its Eurovision 2025 act and entry via a televised national final on Wednesday 29 January 2025.

With 187 nominations, the first phase of the process for the selection of the representative and the song of Greece in the 69th Eurovision Contest , which will be held in Basel, Switzerland, from May 13 to 17, 2025, has been completed.
The process for selecting the representation of Greece continues, according to the conditions stated in the call for expressions of interest for Eurovision 2025.
The National Final will take place on Wednesday 29 January 2025.
Greece in Eurovision
Greece debuted at the Eurovision in 1974 and has won the event once in 2005 when Helena Paparizou stormed to victory in Kyiv with her mega hit ‘ My Number One‘.
Greece enjoyed its golden era at the Eurovision Song Contest from 2004-2013, achieving 9 top 10 placings in the Grand Final, including its 2005 victory. The Mediterranean country has partaken 44 times in our favorite televisision show.
In 2024 Marina Satti represented Greece at the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmo with her mega hit ‘Zari’.
