Last Tuesday saw RTVE hold a special press conference at its headquarters in Madrid, in order to officially present the sixteen competing acts at the forthcoming edition of Benidorm Fest. We bring you some of the highlights from the press conference along with a special photo gallery.
The Benidorm Fest 2025 press conference was conducted by Ms. Maria Eizaguirre Comendador ( RTVE’s Head of Communication and Participation). Cesar Vallejo ( Benidorm Fest-co director) was also present during the press conference to shed more light on the upcoming Spanish national final.
RTVE announced that the proceeds from the Benidorm Fest 2025 ticket sales will go to the victims of the flash floods and storms which afflicted Spain in the last forthnight.
Cesar Vallejo revealed that the 16 competing acts were all selected via the public submisision window and that no one of them had been invited directly to submit a song.

Benidorm Fest 2025
The 2025 Benidorm Fest will consist of three live televised shows (two semi-finals and a Grand Final). A total of 16 acts will compete in the 2025 Spanish national selection, 8 acts will battle in each of the two semi-finals, the top four acts from each semi-final will proceed to the Grand Final. Hence a total of 8 acts will battle for the golden to Eurovision 2025 in the Grand Final. Benidorm Fest 2025 will run from 28 January-01 February.
- The 2025 Benidorm Fest will be held on 28 January (First Semi-final), 30 January (Second Semi-final) and 01 February (Grand Final).
- All three shows will be broadcast live on TVE 1.
- Spain will determine its Eurovision 2024 act and entry on Saturday 01 February via the Grand Final of Benidorm Fest 2025.
