Eurovizija 2019 is in full swing and following its first semi-final evening, we found out the first set of acts that have secured a place at the event’s Grand Final, whose winner will represent Lithuania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 in Tel Aviv.
Tonight saw half of the 24 qualified entries from the heat rounds perform on stage, but only 4 of them managed to go through to the final. The show’s result was determined by the public and an expert jury panel, each having a 50% say. Tonight’s qualifiers were:
- Henry & Tommy Modric – Neverpart
- Justina Budaitė-Junà – Strength of a woman
- Monika Marija – Light on
- Jurgis Brūzga – CTRL ALT DELETE
This means that the 8 acts that are saying goodbye to Eurovizija 2019 are:
- Twosome – 1000
- Emilija Gogolytė – Riddle
- Migloko – Rožės
- Cheri – Again
- Glossarium – Anyone
- Lukas Bartaška – River of hope
- Saulės Kliošas – Laiko mašina
- Edgaras Lubys – To the sky
Eurovizija 2019 goes on next Saturday 16 February, where a further 4 entries will proceed to the Grand Final on 23 February, when we will find out who will fly the Baltic nation’s flag in Israel!
