The first semi-final for Hungary’s national selection process, A Dal, has taken place and we have the results!
Nine acts who have previously taken part in three heats to reach this stage of the competition performed this evening and the four acts moving forward to final are:
- Acoustic Planet – Nyári zápor
- Petruska – Help me out of here
- The Middletonz – Roses
- Vavra Bence – Szótlanság
Which means we say goodbye to these acts:
- DENIZ – Ide várnak vissza
- USNK – Posztolj
- yesyes – Incomplete
- Konyha – Százszor visszajátszott
- The Sign – Ő
As with the semi final, the results were split into two rounds. Firstly the top three acts based on a mixture of votes from the jury and public were announced, and then the final act moving forward was decided by 100% public vote, the act that won the public vote was The Middletonz with Roses.
The next semi-final will take place on 16 February, and then the final of A Dal 2019 when the Hungarian entry for Eurovision 2019 in Tel Aviv will be decided is on 23 February. Stay tuned to esctoday.com for all the latest news and results.
