We’re heading to Iceland where the heat was on this evening: the first semi-final of the country’s Eurovision selection Söngvakeppnin 2019 has concluded, so on to the results!

The top 2 of the five competing acts qualified for the Söngvakeppnin 2019 final, the result was decided by a combination of professional jury vote and public televoting.

Iceland at Eurovision 2018

Ari Ólafsson represented Iceland at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon, Portugal. With his entry Our choice he unfortunately did not progress to the Grand Final, placing 19th with 15 points in Semi-Final 1.
