Is the forza still with you? If not, make sure to tune in tonight for the first semi-final of Eesti Laul. The Eurovision circus is moving to Tallinn, where the Estonian national selection kicks off. Bring it on!
Eesti Laul 2019 is about to begin. The 24 competing acts were revealed last December by Estonian national broadcaster ERR. Tonight the first 12 contenders will battle to continue their dream of being selected for Tel Aviv. Here they are:
- The Swingers, Tanja & Birgit – High heels in the neighbourhood
- Ranele – Supernova
- SOFIA RUBINA (ft. JANIKA TENN) – Deep water
- xtra basic & Emily J – Hold me close
- Johanna Eendra –Miks sa teed nii?
- Victor Crone – Storm
- STEFAN – Without you
- Jennifer Cohen– Little baby el
- Sandra Nurmsalu –Soovide puu
- ÖED – Öhuloss
- Marko Kaar–Smile
- INGER – Coming home
Eurofans will recognise Eurovision veteran Sandra Nurmsalu, who as lead vocalist of Urban Symphony placed 6th at Eurovision 2009 with Rändajad. Moreover, the duo The Swingers, is a collaboration between former Estonian representative Birgit Õigemeel (Eurovision 2013) and Tanja (Mihhailova, Eurovision 2014).
The six best acts will advance to the Grand Final. They will be determined 50% by the jury and 50% by the televote.
