Maybe a very good next professional step? We will see! Anyhow, now it’s a reality! The winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2018, Netta, is starring in her very first TV advertisement, on behalf of the Israeli digital television service, Partner TV.

Partner TV is an Israeli official partner of the American media services provider Netflix and that’s why several scenes from the provider’s main series appear in the 1,5-minute video. With her unique style and her characteristic gimmicks, the Israeli girl features in a commercial which is expected to meet large success and recognition in her country.

The advertisement’s shooting took place last week in Kyiv, Ukraine, under the directing instructions of Karen Hochma, who had also directed the music video for Netta’s winning entry TOY.

Here is a highlight that Netta had posted during the filming, who as you can see, has partially changed her hair look:

What about music?

With Netta starring, it was sure that a proper and fun musical background wouldn’t be absent. The Eurovision winner joined again forces with the musical producer Avshalom Ariel, with whom they recorded a contemporary and more fun version of Naomi Shemer‘s song Summer vacation, for which it could be said that it reminds sounds from Netta’s Eurovision entry.

Terry Yaskil, the CMO of Partner TV had the following words to say:

We’re excited to be part of an original campaign with a young and talented artist like Netta. She has an amazing ability to transcend conventions and penetrate straight to the heart with her musical truth. Her artistic footprint stands out in the campaign.

Netta at Eurovision

Last February saw the young Israeli singer Netta Barzilai win the Israeli artist selection process The Next Star 2018, thus earning the right to represent the country of the Middle East at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in Lisbon, with her competing song expected to be released at a later date.

Her Eurovision entry TOY was unveiled the following month, composed by Doron Medalie and Stav Beger. From the very early days after that release, Netta had been leading all polls and odds, becoming the clear favourite for the victory in the Portuguese capital.

The predictions got finally confirmed and Netta reached the Eurovision top, with a total of 529 points in the Grand Final. Below you may watch again her victorious performance:
