The end of today’s rehearsals is now pretty close with the conclusion of Ireland’s first stage appearance at the Altice Arena. The “Queen of Eurovision” has kept its tradition for yet another year, sending a ballad to the competition.
It’s the young singer and musician Ryan O’Shaughnessy who will be representing the island country at this year’s Eurovision edition, with the song Together. As the Irish delegation had already announced, Ryan is joined on stage by the same male dancers who accompanied him in the much-discussed video clip of his entry.
Ryan stands in the middle of the stage singing and playing his guitar dressed in black, whilst the two artists are dancing together in a winter background, which reminds a lot the song’s music video. A female piano player is also by his side, whilst the lead artist doesn’t seem to have vocal issues.
