Rehearsals are underway in the host city of Lisbon, with artists from across the competing semi-final 1 nations of the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest are currently taking to the official stage for the very first time. Next up on the stage for their first rehearsal is Croatia.
We’re back at the Altice Arena in Lisbon for the second day of Eurovision rehearsals, where today a total of 9 artists from the first semi-final will be taking to the stage for the first time for their first set of rehearsals onstage.
Franka from Croatia is next up onstage today for hers and her country’s first rehearsals of the 2018 competition.
Croatia presents some Armenia 2016 vibes during their performance, featuring similar choreography and stage effects (no special camera angles like Armenia 2016 though). If you liked Iveta’s performance, you may well like this too!
Franka is wearing a black lace dress and is alone onstage, becoming the focal point of the entire Croatian performance. Backing vocalists are included in the performance, however they are backstage for this show.
First look at Croatia’s first rehearsal for Eurovision 2018
Croatia’s staging features a mix of darker colours such as reds and blues, with plenty camera shots of the singer throughout. The traditional Eurovision wind machine also makes an appearance in Croatia’s performance.
Vocally, an incredible performance from Franka today, a potential stand out in the second half of the first semi-final.
