On Wednesday, Malta’s 2018 Eurovision representative – Christabelle – joined us in our Eurovision Live Lounge live in her home country, where she spoke about all things Eurovision and answered all of your questions!
Christabelle from Malta became the seventh artist to join and enter ESCToday’s Eurovision Live Lounge on Wednesday, speaking us in the midst of her Eurovision rehearsals ahead of next week’s travels to the Eurovision host city of Lisbon.
Break the Taboo campaign
The MESC 2018 winner spoke of the message behind her competing entry Taboo, which is about breaking the taboo of mental illness and getting across the message that it is possible to seek help when needed.
With this, Christabelle announced that she has officially started her Break the Taboo campaign, where she is asking fans from across the world to send in their videos saying their name and the country they are from, stating “I want to break the taboo”.
Submitted videos will be upload via both the Eurovision Malta and Christabelle’s social media accounts, where an official video campaign will be created and produced. Submissions can be sent to the official campaign email address at [email protected].
