Croatian Eurovision 2018 representative Franka Batelić covered her favourite Eurovision song, L’essenziale by Marco Mengoni, and dedicated it to the memory of her father.

Franka shared an emotional post on Facebook, in which she explained why her favourite Eurovision song ever is L’essenziale by Marco Mengoni (Eurovision 2013). Interpreting the song, the Croatioan singer dedicated it to her late father, Damir Batelić.

Franka will surely do her father proud in Lisbon, as she is getting ready to perform her entry Crazy on the Eurovision stage.

Franka will perform Crazy from position 12 in the second half of Semi-Final 1 on Tuesday 8 May 2018.
