The 2018 Bulgarian Eurovision representatives Equinox travelled to Lisbon recently in order to film their Eurovision postcard. We will seee the Bulgarian hopefuls enjoying the sights and sounds of the Portuguese capital.
The delegations and participants of the 43 participating countries at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest will be travelling to Portugal prior to the contest in order to film their respective presentation postcards. Each artist will be portrayed in an activity or a challenge.
The postcards will showcase the beauty of Portugal and will portray the Eurovision artists enjoying the sights and sounds of the host country.
The presentation postcards serve as a massive platform for the host country to promote its tourism and showcase itself on a global scale as millions of viewers tune in to watch Europe’s favorite television show. The Eurovision Song Contest reaches households beyond Europe, from Australia to Argentina, from China to New Zealand, from USA to India etc.

The 2018 Bulgarian hopefuls, Equinox, have filmed their Eurovision postcard in the majestic Portuguese capital, Lisbon. We will see the Bulgarian group enjoying the sights and sounds of Lisbon during their postcard.
About Equinox
Equinox, the five member band have joined forces specially for Eurovision and were selected via an internal selection in order to defend the Bulgarian colours at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest. They will fly to Lisbon with their song Bones.
The band is composed by: Zhana Bergendorff, Vlado Mihailov, Georgi Simeonov, Johnny Manuel and Trey Campbell.
Bulgaria in Eurovision
Bulgaria debuted in Eurovision in 2005 with Kafe is and yet to win the contest, the country achieved its best result in the competition in 2017 with Kristian Kostov’s Beautiful mess, nearly walking away with the Grand Prix (placing 2nd in Kyiv).
Bulgaria is set to compete in the First Semi-final of the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest on 8 May in Lisbon.
