The 2018 Portuguese Eurovision host nation is gearing up for the forthcoming 2018 Eurovision Song Contest and Eurovision fever is set to hit Portugal. The 2018 Portuguese hopeful Claudia Pascoal is set to film the official music video of her Eurovision entry O Jardim in Lisbon next week.
Can Isaura and Claudia Pascoal follow the footsteps of Salvador Sobral and retain the coveted Eurovision trophy on home soil? We will have to wait a little bit longer…
Meanwhile the 2018 Portuguese representative, Claudia, has made a call for all those who would like to feature on O Jardin’s official music video can do so by sending an email to: [email protected]. The music video will be filmed on 8-9 April in Lisbon.

Claudia Pascoal and Isaura were crowned the winners of the 2018 Portuguese national final– Festival da Cançao and will defend the Portuguese colours on home soil when they take the Eurovision stage on 12 May with her entry O Jardim.
Portugal has been drawn to perform #8 in the Grand Final of the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest on 12 May in Lisbon.

Portugal debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1964 and has won the competition once, namely in 2017 when Salvador Sobral took Europe by storm with Amar pelos dois.
Until 2017 LuciaMoniz retained the country’s best result in the competition, a 6th placing at the 1996 Eurovision Song Contest in Oslo with O meu coraçao nao tem cor.
The 2018 Eurovision Song Contest will be held on 8, 10 and 12 May at the Altice Arena in Lisbon, Portugal
