Portugal, the 2018 Eurovision host nation has been drawn to perform 8th at the Grand Final of the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest.

The Heads of Delegation Meeting in currently in full swing in Lisbon, with delegations from 42 countries visiting the 2018 Eurovision host city and checking out the preparations and visiting the premises.

Portugal has been drawn to perform eighth in the running order of the Grand Final of the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest. The draw was held in Lisbon earlier today, during  the Head of Delegation meeting. The Czech Republic’s Head of Delegation Mr. Jan Bors had the honour of drawing the running order number for Portugal, the host country. We must not forget that as the host country Portugal as a direct ticket to the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest.


Claudia Pascoal was crowned the winner of the 2018 Portuguese national final– Festival da Cançao and will defend the Portuguese colours on home soil when she take the Eurovision stage on 12 May with her entry O Jardim.
