Mark the date, as Belgium’s SENNEK is set to unveil her Eurovision 2018 entry on Tuesday 6th of March.

Back in September 2017, upcoming artist Laura Groeseneken aka. SENNEK from Belgium was the first singer to be officially announced as participant of the ESC 2018 in Lisbon, Portugal. In the past months, SENNEK has been working diligently on her Eurovision 2018 entry, the artist and her team keeping the ultimate song secret, only stating about the song:

It will be a pop song, but not a typical one. Not even for the Eurovision Song Contest. It is a bit mysterious.

SENNEK has been teasing little bits of recordings on social media, including sessions with Jerboa Mastering in Ghent, and photographs on Instagram of what appear to be shots for the official videoclip accompanying the Eurovision 2018 entry:

Yet all the mystery is set to be unveiled, as Flemish-Belgian broadcaster VRT has ushered a press release concerning the presentation of Belgium’s 2018 Eurovision entry.

Press conference on 5 March, public presentation on 6 March

The song will be presented at a press conference on Monday 5 March 2018, which will be closed to public. But fans will not have to wait long, as SENNEK’s song will be publically revealed on Tuesday 6 March 2018.

The public unveiling will most likely be on the radio in the early morning, probably in  De Grote Peter van de Veire Ochtendshow, a popular radio show which airs on weekdays between 06:00 and 09:00 CET on station MNM. SENNEK has been a regular guest in the show, which is hosted by the Flemish-Belgian ESC commentator Peter van de Veire.

However, details about the public presentation will be released in due time.

In the meantime, enjoy SENNEK’s interview with Peter van de Veire, in which she tells more about her plans, song and stage name (courtesy of broadcaster Éen, English subtitles):
