The Eurovision search is going on there high in the Atlantic, with the second semi-final round of the Icelandic national selection Söngvakeppnin taking place tonight at the Háskólabíó conference hall in Reykjavik.

About the show
Following the previous show on 10 February, Söngvakeppnin continues tonight with a further 6 acts battling for the 3 available spots in the competition’s Grand Final, which will take place on 3 March at the Laugardalshöll arena.
Tonight’s semi-final sees the following 6 acts compete:

- Rakel Pálsdóttir – Óskin mín
- Stefanía Svavarsdóttir, Agnes Marinósdóttir & Regína Lilja Magnúsdóttir – Svaka stuð
- Þórir Geir Guðmundsson & Gyða Margrét Kristjánsdóttir – Brosa
- Dagur Sigurðarson – Í stormi

As with the first semi-final, 3 of the 6 acts will progress to the final evening and the outcome will be determined by a 50:50 jury and public vote. Hosting the show will be the former Miss Iceland and actress Ragnhildur Steinunn Jónsdóttir.
