Lithuania began their search for their next Eurovision representative following the kick off of their national selection, Eurovizija 2018. Thirteen artists competed, but who managed to advance in the competition?
Tonight saw the first broadcast of Lithuania’s national selection for the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest, Eurovizija, in which a total of 13 artists competed and presented their entries to the public for the very first time.
Whilst the show was pre-recorded earlier this week on Wednesday, where the jury votes were already determined, tonight saw the combination of the jury votes as well as this evening’s public vote.
Results from Heat 1
This evening started with a total of 13 Heat One participants. Following tonight’s results, 7 artists left this evening’s show, with 6 acts advancing to the next stage of the competition.

We say goodbye to our first non-qualifiers of the competition: Aušra Difartė, Natalja Chareckaja, Evaldas Vaikasas, Justin3, Meda Meškauskaitė, Dangė and Monee.
Eurovizija 2018 continues on the 20 January, in which a further set of artists will compete in the second heat of the national selection. Further details about the Heat 2 participants will be unveiled over the coming days.
