Lithuanian broadcaster LRT has officially announced the details for its national selection process for the Eurovision Song Contest 2027. The search for Lithuania’s next representative kicks off today, with the grand final of ‘EUROVIZIJA.LT’ scheduled for February 20, 2027.
LRT has opened its doors to artists and songwriters, inviting them to submit their original songs for consideration in the highly anticipated national competition. This marks the beginning of several months of selection, which will culminate in the live final where the Lithuanian public and an expert jury will choose their entry for Eurovision 2027.
The 2027 Lithuanian national selection EUROVIZIJA.LT 2027 will consist of five televised shows: four semi-finals and a Grand Final. The semi-finals will be filmed on 18, 19, 25 and 26 January whilst the Grand Final will be aired live on 20 February.
LRT has opened the song submission window for EUROVIZIJA.LT 2027 with the deadline set for the 11th of November. Hereafer a special jury will evaluate all the submitted entries and whittle them down to 30 songs by the 25th of November.

The broadcaster encourages all aspiring participants to carefully review the rules and regulations for submissions, as Lithuania looks to continue its strong presence on the Eurovision stage.
