So it begins! ERR, the Estonian national broadcaster, has publicly released the first 10 entries set to compete in the first semi-final of the country’s upcoming national selection for Eurovision 2018: Eesti Laul.
Last month, ERR released the names of the 20 artists selected to compete in Eesti Laul 2018, Estonia’s national selection for the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest.
The 2018 line-up sees the return of 3 former Estonian representatives at the competition: Semy (2001, member of 2XL), Gerli Padar (2007, Partners in crime) and Stig Rästa (2015, Goodbye to yesterday).

With the semi-final allocation for Eesti Laul 2018 taking place shortly after the competitor announcement, today saw the Estonian national broadcaster publish the first 10 songs set to compete in semi-final 1 of the selection.

Tomorrow, ERR will publish the final 10 entries which will compete in the second semi-final of Eesti Laul 2018.
Eesti Laul 2018 schedule
Following recent tradition of the Eesti Laul event, the 20 selected participants will be split into a total of 2 semi-finals, both of which will take place in February, in an attempt to qualify to the final of the competition on the 3 March.
- 10/02: Semi-final 1
- 17/02: Semi-final 2
- 03/03: Grand final
