We have another set of results from tonight’s episode of The Next Star in Israel, in which a further 5 artists auditioned for a place in the next stage of the competition.
With 6 artists advancing in yesterday evening’s The Next Star show, tonight saw another 5 artists performing in the hope of qualifying to the next stage of the selection.
Artists were looking to gain the votes of both the audience and the 4-member judging panel, with every performing act needing to receive at least 70% of the vote in order to qualify.
Tonight’s results are in
Five more artists auditioned in tonight’s episode of the Israeli national selection; 3 of whom managed to proceed to the next part of the competition. The artists were as follows:
- Barak Mizrahi (76%, ‘Yes’ vote from all 4 judges)
- Mishell (79%, ‘Yes’ vote from 3 judges)
- Vicky Kleichman (43%*, ‘Yes’ from 1 judge)
*Whilst Vicky Kleichman received under the asking 70% of the ‘Yes’ vote, a new twist in the show saw the 2 hosts, Assi Azar and Rotem Sela, save the artist and therefore advance to the next stage.
Two artists failed to qualify in tonight’s show: King Phoenix and Netanel Sabag.
Vicky Kleichman was the final artist to audition in tonight’s show, originally only receiving 1 ‘Yes’ vote from the judges (Keren Peles). However following calls from the audience, the 2 hosts of the selection decided the save the singer, who has therefore qualified to the next stage.
