The show

Tonight and tomorrow sees the next 2 episodes of Israel’s The Next Star, as the country searches for their next representative for the Eurovision Song Contest.

It’s another night of auditions in tonight’s episode, in which artists from across the country and beyond will perform for a place in the next stage of the competition.

All auditionees will need to gain a total of 70% of the ‘Yes’ vote in order to advance in the selection, with a maximum of 40% coming from the 4-member jury panel (10% per member).

The remaining vote will be determined via the viewing audience.

If an artist fails to achieve the 70% needed, the 2 hosts of the competition – Assi Azar and Rotem Sela – will be given the opportunity to save the artist and give them a chance in proceeding in the contest.

Stay tuned for the results of The Next Star later this evening!
