The bronze medallists of the Eurovision Song Contest 2017, Moldova’s Sunstroke Project, are set to perform in the French capital next month.

Eurovision party coming soon!

The band have a busy few weeks ahead of them, with many of this year’s Eurovision participants joining them in Chișinău for the Eurovision concert next week on the 14 November.

Hosted by Eurovision 2017 presenter Timur Miroshnychenko, artists featuring in this special event include former participants Artsvik, Nathan Trent, Dihaj, Imri, Slavko Kalezić, Jowst, Alex & Ilinca, Manel Navarro, Robin Bengtsson and Timebelle.

Sunstroke Project will also perform in 2 further European concerts: they will be performing in Cologne, Germany on 25 November and Krynica Zdrój, Poland on the 1 December.

Moldova at Eurovision 2017

Sunstroke Project achieved Moldova’s best ever result at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 with their modern dance track Hey mamma!, receiving a total of 374 points and finishing in 3rd place.


Eleanor (or Ellie), is 26 years old, is from Exeter in the UK. She combines motherhood with studying linguistics. Ellie was first allowed to stay up and watch the Eurovision Song Contest aged 5 in 1999, but really fell in love with it after the Athens 2006 contest. Big key changes and dramatic stage shows are an absolute must! Ellie has also written an A* academic dissertation on the cultural history of Eurovision.
