France’s lucky charm for Eurovision, Amir has released a new album called Addictions and has announced his upcoming tour and dates.
The 2016 French representative Amir released his new album called Addictions on the 27 October. The album has 18 songs, including 3 bonus tracks.
The album includes his song featuring One Republic as well as his earlier release États d’amour. One of the songs on the album is called Anja and is a song about a girl of the same name who talks about forgiving past people; Amir describes her and talks of how he feels about her.

Upcoming tour
Amir has also announced more tour dates which will take place all over France along with two cities in Belgium (Mons and Liege), as well as in Switzerland (Lausanne and Geneva). He will begin his tour in Meurthe-et-Moselle in Ludres on the 15 November.

The French artist is also nominated for Best French Artist at the MTV EMA (Europe Music Awards) on the 12 November. He encouraged his fans to vote for him on Instagram!

Amir at Eurovision
Amir was internally selected to represent France at Eurovision 2016 in Stockholm with his entry J’ai cherché and came 6th with 257 points, securing France its first Top 10 appearance since Patricia Kaas in Moscow back in 2009.
