4. Gabriele – Girl
Girl is a very catchy pop song with some very slight country influences. The girl-group style performance suits this song very well. Generally an effort typical for Eurovision Song Contest national finals that can hardly be called modern or innovative but that is very sweet and could therefore gain some votes.
5. Avenue Acoustic – Aklomis myliu tavo varda
After something classic, it s time for something very unusual. Avenue Acoustic perform a rather chaotic song in Lithuanian that does not seem to go anywhere. Nevertheless, they manage to win the hearts of the audience due to a very sweet performance and interesting oriental influences in the arrangement. Still, the vocal performance was far from being impressive.
6. Imantas – Won't you come back?
Soul music has appeared rather frequently in the Lithuanian national selections in recent years. Won't you come back? is another effort in that genre. Although the vocal performance is rather strong, the stage performance might lack some charisma to sell the catchy but rather repetitive and predictable song.
7. Onsa – Will you be my wife
Another one of the sweet, but inconspicuous songs in the running. Will you be my wife gets more funky towards the end, which helps raising attention. The lead singer's innocent outward appearance fits perfectly in the whole impression.
8. Daina Bileviciute – Myliu gyventi
A very catchy up-tempo song in Lithuanian now. The singer is a very confident performer, who sells the song n a passionate and powerful way. The vocals are strong as well. A very nice entry that might lose some of its charme if the lyrics were translated into English.
9. Sasha Song & Nora – Say 'yes' to life
2009 Eurovision Song Contest reprresentative Sasha Son is back on stage with a slightly different style, although it is still in the soul department. The melody is rather catchy but the song might lack a climax and instead just seems to not go anywhere. Still a very strong vocal performance and a very positive message.
10. Urte – Angelai
A very classy ballad with a very classy performance in a white dress. The song profits from the fact that it is performed in Lithuanian and it manages to highlight the beauty of that language. A very strong vocal performance that is not over-the-top but rather faces on transporting the emotions.
11. Aiste Pilvelyte – Melancoli
Aiste Pilvelyte is a well-known face on this stage. She performs a classy ballad in Lithuanian as well, but hers is much more dramatic than Angelai. A very strong and flawless vocal performance by a confident performer, who could well get some attention on the even bigger stage in Oslo.
