Il Volo, the 2015 Italian Eurovision representatives, have been awarded with a Gold Certificate for their DVD Notte magica, being the best-selling DVD in Brazil.
Notte Magica – Tributo Ai Tre Tenori (Magical Night – A Tribute To The Three Tenors), a collaboration with Placido Domingo, is Il Volo‘s ode to the famous Three Tenors (Domingo, Luciano Pavarotti and José Carreras).
The live album and subsequent Notte Magica Tour were a success, and now the DVD of the tour has earned Gold Status in Brazil, being the best-selling DVD in that country.

About Il Volo
Il Volo (The Flight) is an Italian operatic pop trio, consisting of Piero Barone, Ignazio Boschetto (both tenors) and Gianluca Ginoble (baritone).
Formed in 2009, the group is among the most popular artists of Italy, and has a massive fan following across Europe, the United States and Latin America.
Winning the 2015 Sanremo Music Festival, the group subsequently represented Italy at the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, Austria.
Being one of the hot favourites to win the contest, Il Volo and their entry Grande amore (composed by Ciro “Tommy” Esposito and written by Francesco Boccia) eventually reached an honourable 3rd place in the Grand Final, earning a total of 292 points.
The group actually won the public televote, and was awarded with the additional Marcel Bezençon Press Award. Grande amore became a hit across Europe.
