Maltese Head of Delegation Joe Dimech has announced a change of plans today regarding the reveal of the 20 acts to reach the final of the Maltese national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2010. The finalists will not be announced next Wednesday, but already tomorrow during the daily news program.
The televoting for the sixth semi final will be closed tomorrow at 16:30 CET. The televoting results and the jury results will then be compiled and the list of 20 finalists will be revealed during the news program, which is broadcast at 20:00 CET. The draw of the running order will take place on Sunday at the Corinthia San Georg in Attard. All singer and songwriters are invited to attend the draw.
The final of Malta Eurosong 2010 will take place on 20th February with 20 acts competing. The show will be broadcast live from the Fairs and Convention Centre in Ta' Qali and it will be hosted by Keith Demicoli, Pauline Agius and Owen Bonnici. The eventual winner will be chosen by jury voting and televoting counting for 50% each.
