Latvian National Broadcaster (LTV) has relased the information about the participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in Oslo.

Following the pattern of the previous year, LTV plans to involve sponsors and financial supporters to pave the way to Oslo.

According to Edgars Kots, the General Manager of LTV, "Eurovision is the only project of such a broad calibre LTV is participating at, as well as it is a unique chance for Latvian musicians to get known and recognized internationally. The majority of audience expects and looks forward the Eurovision Song Contest as it is proven by the viewer rates".

Despite the gruel economical circumstances LTV admits it is extremely important to promote and make the access of culture and art projects. That is why the country will be once again participating at the pan-European event.

As of today, the team of LTV starts working on the application rules and regulations for the National selection which will be made public the next week.
