As Christmas is approaching talent shows are in full swing all over Europe and many Eurostars are invited to perform popular hits as well as Eurovision entries together with the young participants.

Some interesting performances (and some not so interesting ones) of recent Eurovision Song Contest entries have been aired in the Estonian as well as the Ukrainian editions of Idol. This year's winner, Alexander Rybak, Dmitry Koldun (Belarus 2007), Verka Serduchka (Ukraine 2007), Anastasia Prikhodko (Russia 2009), Svetlana Loboda (Ukraine 2009) and Sandra (Estonia 2009) all making guest appearances. In the Ukrainian show we also saw Julia Savicheva (Russia 2004), Tina Karol (Ukraine 2006), Ruslana (Ukraine 2004) and legendary Filip Kirkorov dueting with various newcomers.
